The COVID-19 pandemic greatly affected both Vietnam and the United States, yet some students continued to wish to study abroad. In 2020-2021, AMVNX recruited a total of 150 students to travel to the U.S. and study at our partner institutions. Prior to the pandemic, we recruited 220 students in 2019-2020, and nearly 300 students in 2018-2019. The current coronavirus situation in Vietnam as of 2022 is improving, however there are still occasional lockdowns and wariness surrounding the virus. In order to support our partners and continue fostering our relationship with them, we are planning to host a series of in-person fairs and webinars. These opportunities are great ways for school representatives to meet directly with students to explain to them why studying abroad is the right choice.

Other Ongoing Events

In the future, we plan to continue hosting events such as webinars, in person fairs, and additional marketing opportunities for our partners. These events are always a success with children and parents, and provide educational institutions with the foundational connection they need to recruit potential students.

Emma Willard School Webinar

Emma Willard School is an all-girls boarding school located in Troy, New York, only three hours away from New York City, Boston, and other surrounding cityscapes. Past Event

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, AMVNX was hosting the largest recruitment fairs in Vietnam. We were the only organization to hold events of this size, with more than 100+ recruitment events total for both colleges and boarding schools, all just in the last 10 years. Hundreds of families join each fair every year, a remarkable testimony to the recruitment efforts and desire for abroad education.
